Innovative Models of Korean Diplomacy and their Effectiveness

Abstract
In the context of rapid globalization and technological transformation, diplomacy has evolved beyond traditional statecraft into multidimensional and adaptive practices. The Republic of Korea (South Korea) represents a compelling case of a country that has successfully integrated innovative diplomatic models to enhance its global influence. This article examines the key innovative approaches of Korean diplomacy, including soft power strategies, digital diplomacy, economic statecraft, and science diplomacy. The study analyzes their effectiveness in strengthening Korea’s international standing, fostering regional stability, and expanding global partnerships. The findings suggest that Korea’s hybrid diplomatic model, combining cultural influence, technological advancement, and strategic alliances, has significantly contributed to its success as a middle power in international relations.
